I was inspired to make this from a recipe I saw recently on Twitter. However, it didn’t seem NEARLY chocolatey enough for my taste. So, here’s my spin.
Light and airy, spicy and seductive! ooh! and JUST over 100 calories :) Enjoy!
2/3 cup Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa
2 tablespoons Smucker’s hot fudge
1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ancho chile powder* or 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt (optional)
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extractMethod
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir until fully combined.
Grease baking dish to avoid your brownies sticking to the pan upon removal.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Enjoy with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
